Pub Dog Colorado

Pub Dog Colorado

I watched updates about Pub Dog Colorado, anticipating their opening. It would be awesome to finally have a place to bring my sweet best friend out to lunch or dinner with me. The thought of her meeting some of my other friends and their best friends made me happy. She deserved the socialization and time away from home.

Unfortunately, we went through so much in a few short months, I had forgotten about the opening of Pub Dog. When we were settled into a loving home with my friend B (who was like a second mom to us both), we were finally capable of getting some time in with our friends. So, M and I planned to bring Bailey and Diamond to lunch with us at Pub Dog. We just knew they would enjoy it as much as we would.

Once we were parked, I texted M to let her know Diamond and I had arrived. When she texted that she and Bailey were there as, we all got out of our cars and headed across the gravel parking lot. We picked a place inside to eat, so M and I could have some conversation while looking over the menu. When we were ready to order, we went to the window and ordered our salads and the dogs their Puppy Patties.

Pub Dog Colorado is a well lit, and (leashed) dog friendly restaurant with delicious food for both K-9s and humans. You can have your meal inside, or you can take it outside and let your dog make friends with others in the small dog park (designated off leash area) near the tables on the patio, while you hang out with your friends and have a drink or a few. The atmosphere is welcoming of humans and their best friends. It’s a wonderful addition to the city and is located just off of Bott Ave.

Bailey and Diamond enjoyed their Puppy Patties and were finished before M and I finished our salads. Diamond was more interested in begging for more food while Bailey was more interested in being in his mom’s lap. It was a wonderful lunch between two friends and their furbabies. I wish we had been able to visit more, but it wasn’t long before M and I each with our best friends at our sides, moved to different states. Diamond has since passed away, but I’m thankful we have this memory to hold on to.

If you’re ever in Colorado Springs traveling with your pup, you should visit this dog friendly, locally owned restaurant with your best friend. The rules, address, menu, and even merchandise are all available on their website. Have a wonderful time socializing with dogs and humans alike!
